Veteran's Day Assembly
The students, faculty, and staff of Jones Middle School would like to cordially invite you to our annual Veterans Day Assembly on Tuesday, November 11, 2025. We will be paying tribute to all veterans and active military personnel throughout the globe, and in particular, those who are a part of our school community. The assembly will begin at 8:45 a.m. and is open to all guests.
In addition to our Veterans Day Assembly (held from 8:45 – 9:45), we will be providing breakfast to those who have served from 8:00 a.m. – 8:30 a.m. We would also like to feature pictures and service information, on our “Wall of Honor,” about veterans and active military personnel who are a part of our Jones community. If you would like to recognize a veteran or someone currently serving, please complete this form bleow(which can also be found on the school website) as soon as possible. Please include a picture on the form (when possible).
We look forward to having you join us on November 11th to honor our veterans! Please fill out this form by November 3, 2025. We need the RSVP to plan enough food for our guests and to ensure no one is left out during our ceremony and wall of honor.
Please fill out one form for each veteran or active military!

For the week of 9/29-10/3, 8th grade leads again! 6th and 7th are super close though. Remember our school wide goal is 95%, let's make sure we are showing up each day so we can meet this goal.

Picture Day is Tuesday, October 14th.

We are SO proud to have met our attendance goal of 95% again last week (Sept 22-26). Kudos to 8th grade for having the highest percentage!

Dear Parents/Guardians,
As a reminder, beginning tomorrow, October 1, students should no longer wear shorts to school in accordance with the JMS Dress Code policy (see attached image).
Announcements were made at school today to remind students of this expectation. We kindly ask that you also reinforce this guideline with your student tonight and tomorrow morning.
Shorts may be worn again after Spring Break.
Thank you for your support in helping us maintain a safe and respectful learning environment.

✨ Our students wrapped up Hispanic Heritage Month with an incredible celebration — our annual Hispanic Heritage Dance! 🎉
We were honored to have guest dancers join us, and many of our amazing parents prepared homemade dishes and drinks to share with everyone. Students from all grade levels showcased their creativity by choreographing their own dances, and our very own Mr. Reed kept the energy high as DJ, playing an all-Spanish playlist.
It was a fabulous afternoon filled with culture, music, food, and community! ❤️💃🕺
